Accessibility statement

Our commitment

BEXAI Consulting Inc. wants everyone to be able to use bexai.ca. We follow The Accessibility for Manitobans Act and its customer service and information and communication standards.

The standard

We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the level Manitoba’s Accessible Information and Communication Standard sets, and we are working towards WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That work is in progress, and this statement says where it stands.

What is checked today

Interactive dashboard components are tested with axe-core at every change. The dashboard is operable by keyboard and respects a reduced-motion setting. Every status is shown in words, never by colour alone.

Known barriers

Colour contrast on some public pages is still being measured and corrected. Some moving elements do not yet offer a pause control. No full review by a person, including a screen reader pass, has been done yet. We will name the date by which the public-page contrast work will be finished in the next version of this statement. If a contrast problem is stopping you from using a page now, write to us and we will send you the content in a format that works for you.

Alternative formats

Any report or page is available in another format, such as plain text or a phone call, on request, at no cost.

Tell us about a barrier

Write to accessibility@bexai.ca, or use the contact form, and say which page and what happened. A person will reply within 5 business days, and tell you what we will do and when.
